From the Heart of a Husband

September 15, 2014

Wives,
It’s time for you to begin interceding on the behalf of your husband. Intercession is not going to GOD complaining about your husband. It’s ascending into the heavenly realm to the throne room of the Lord letting God show you how He sees your husband and wanting you to pray (come into agreement with)that. You see the enemy wants you to complain and murmur about your husband such that you can’t ascend. It’s time for you to see the bigger picture about your husband, to 1) find out why the enemy is trying to come so hard after him and 2) the way GOD sees him.

Do you realize that you are very, very powerful? Do you realize the authority that you have and that you are the only one in this earth who is anointed to pray breakthroughs for your husband. Not Bishop A, Apostle B, Prophet C, Prophetess D, Pastor E, nor Elder F has more authority and power then you do to intercede on behalf of your husband. Why? Because you are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh and joined with him Genesis 2:23, 24. You are ultimately praying for yourself. The complete total MAN is MALE + FEMALE.

Here is insight into the Power and Authority you have. Amos 3:7 says, “Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets (NKJV).” The Complete Jewish Bible says this, “Adonai, God, does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets (CJB).” If you didn’t know, you are the Prophet of your own household. God wants to reveal to you His secrets (i.e. His plan) concerning your husband and wants you to come into agreement with it. It is your agreement that put things in motion and gives God access to do the “work”.

Is it going to be easy? No. Are there going to be times in prayer where you will have to moan like you are having birth pains? Yes. Will you have to consecrate and deny yourself certain things? Yes. Is it all worth it? Yes, because your husband will be the Man that God wants him to be which is good for the whole family, since he is the head.
Therefore I encourage you to respond to the Call that the Lord is calling you to. And remember you have the Holy Spirit and the GRACE of the Lord that will help you on this next leg of your Journey with the Lord.

We have to be careful and not do things to please man instead of God when He elevates us to a leadership position. That was Saul’s main problem.

As Leaders we must not get ahead of God and react to situations because in our eyes, we think God is not moving fast enough or not at all. This was Saul’s problem as well.

As Leaders we must follow God’s instructions fully. God desires obedience more then sacrificing. This was also Saul’s problem.

As Leaders we must understand that our actions have a far more reaching affect then others. It can and will affect not only the people God has called us to lead, but most damaging is our immediate family (spouse and children). It can cause our children to walk a cursed life even unto death. This was also an issue that Saul had.

As Leaders we can even change or hinder the destiny of our children. This was Saul’ s problem too. The kingship of Israel should have been passed to Jonathon. Instead it went to his best friend David.
